Monthly Scrapbook Club

I've found that when I am part of a club I get more done! So to help you (and myself) get more done in 2011, I decided to start a monthly club.

Here is how it will work:

• Each month I will post the layouts and supplies needed for the next month.
• You can choose to purchase those supplies on a month by month basis.
• Everyone who participates will have a chance to receive hostess rewards.
• Your name will be on a list and each month that you order it will move up the list. If you don't order one month your name will stay in the same place. If you don't order for 2 consecutive months your name will begin to move down the list.
• When it is your turn to be the hostess I will let you know so you can collect additional orders, boosting your reward amount.
• You will receive a minimum $25 in Hostess Rewards.
• If you are local to me we will meet at the end of each month to put together the layouts. $5 will get you all the extras I will add (additional cardstock, ribbon, materials for interactive layouts, etc.)
• This is replacing the Workshop on the Go Club.

What have you been up to lately?

I have been busy creating items to sell at the Trout Lake Holiday Market coming up next Saturday! When our Women's Ministry organized our Fall Bazaar I had a table and a couple of ladies that were there encouraged me to participate in the Trout Lake Holiday Market. I have been using a lot of my old supplies (BC - before Close to My Heart!)

I also finished my Christmas pages for the January Workshop and pages using Magnifique for this Wednesday's Girl's Night Out! Sneak peek coming soon....

So, what have you been creating?

What is your favorite Close to My Heart Product?

That is a loaded question! haha

I would have to say the thing that absolutely sold me on Close to my Heart is the My Acrylix Stamp Sets. Several years ago I had been introduced to stamping on my scrapbook pages and loved it. With stamps I could make any paper go great with any layout. But wood mounted stamps take up so much space.

Then I was introduced to Close to My Heart and the My Acrylix stamps. Wow! You don't have to cut them out before you use them and mount them permanently to a wood block. They come on a carrier sheet, you peel them off, put them on the acrylic block, then when you are done, you clean them and put them back on the carrier sheet. Plus you can see exactly where you are stamping. I LOVE that!

So I was hooked. I signed up as an Independent Consultant with Close to My Heart in January 2008 and have been sharing my love of scrapbooking and stamping with others ever since.
